TORONTO – Another two U.S. citizens have been extradited to face a combined 67 charges in connection with the mayhem caused Downtown by protestors during the G20 Summit.
One of the men allegedly caused more than a $250,000 in damage.
Toronto Police say both accused, who were wanted on Canada-wide warrants, were brought to Toronto on Tuesday.
Kevin Chianella, 20, from Queens, N.Y., and Richard Dean Morano, 22, from Lackawaxen, Pa., were held in custody overnight.
Police allege the pair were among the protesters who rampaged through the city’s Financial District and up Yonge St. on June 26, 2010, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
Chianella faces 53 charges and is accused of dressing in black and smashing a slew of windows -- banks, fast food chains and clothing store -- causing $300,000 in damage.
Morano faces 14 charges and is also accused of disguising himself and smashing windows.
Chianella and Morano are scheduled to make their first court appearances on their G20-related charges Wednesday.
On Feb. 22, Quinn McCormic, 25, of Boston, Mass., was arrested and extradited to Toronto to face similar charges.
