CALGARY - True love shouldn’t cost a thing.

But for two women it came at a hefty price, the pair losing a combined $300,000 to an online crook posing as a Casanova.

One woman is a 56-year-old who thought she found true love on an Internet dating site, but instead got heartbreak and financial hardship when she sent $77,000 to the man who said he loved her and had convincing stories to warrant her lending him the cash.
