TORONTO -- Police are hunting an attacker who cut part off part of an elderly woman's nose.
"The woman had just gotten off the streetcar at around 2 p.m. (Saturday) and was transferring to the subway on her way home when it happened," Det. Charles Ricci said.
The victim had just exited the Dundas St. streetcar, near Yonge St., when a man attacked her.
He fled the scene, after cutting off a piece of the senior's nose.
Police would not comment on what may have prompted the attack on the Cantonese-speaking woman.
