BOMANVILLE, Ont. -- The details surrounding the shocking death of a four-year-old boy from Toronto in a Durham region home remains shrouded in mystery.
Terell Vidal was found with no vital signs last Wednesday at a home on Ireland St. in Bowmanville, Ont., east of Toronto.
While his death had initially been deemed suspicious, investigators now say the child was the victim of a homicide.
An autopsy determined the child died of blunt force trauma.
No arrest has been made. However, a police statement Saturday said Vidal's death was "not believed to have been a random act."
