WINNIPEG -- A Winnipeg man hadn't even stopped at a four-way intersection Sunday when two strangers jumped in and carjacked him.
The 33-year-old man was driving his 2012 Blue Mazda3 in the area of Kildare Avenue and Winona Street between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m.
He was slowing down as he approached the intersection when a suspect male jumped in front of the car and a second male entered the rear passenger door.
The first suspect opened the driver's side door and forced his way in, pushing the victim into the passenger seat.
The suspects indicated they had a firearm.
They drove south, briefly stopping at Fermoer Boulevard and St. Mary's Road to threaten the victim and demand cash.
They drove to a bank in the 1100-block of Pembina Highway where the victim withdrew cash and turned it over to the suspects.
Then the victim managed to escape, running from the car to another passing vehicle. The suspects took off in the Mazda GS Sky, licence plate GTX 310, which
