OTTAWA — A 27-year-old Smiths Falls, Ont., woman is accused of breaking into a physically disabled man's apartment and sexually assaulting him in his bed.
Police in Smiths Falls say the suspect broke in through an unlocked patio door around 10 p.m. on Sept 17.
The suspect allegedly began touching the man's groin and prevented him from getting out of the bed.
The struggle continued until a roommate tried to intervene. The suspect pushed her into a wall and scratched her arms, then stole a pack of smokes and left the apartment, police said.
The suspect is charged with break and enter, sexual assault, forcible confinement, assault and theft under $5,000.
