Heroin in bags with a red stamp labelling it "Obamacare" was seized by Massachusetts police Friday morning.
State police said two officers and the K9 unit discovered the 1,250 bags of heroin after a traffic stop in Hatfield, Mass., about 175 km west of Boston. Four people were arrested and face possession charges. Some of the bags were also labelled Kurt Cobain - the name of the late singer and Nirvana frontman.
Lt. Daniel Richard told CNN the names on the bags were a way to market the drugs.
"It's a branding by the particular drug dealer so when the drug gets out to the population, you know what it is," Richard said. "It's just a branding so you can say if this brand is good or bad. It's like putting Pepsi or Coca-Cola on a bottle."
