RICHMOND HILL, Ont. -- Two murder victims gunned down in a car at a townhouse complex earlier this week were just teenagers.
York Regional Police said the hunt continues for the two men thought to be responsible for Wednesday's deadly attack at Green Centre Co-op -- a complex at 172 Centre St. E., near Major Mackenzie Blvd. and Yonge St., north of Toronto.
Investigators have now officially identified the two who were killed and the third victim who was critically injured in a Lexus -- but only one name is being released to the public at this time.
Premier Hoang, 18, of Brampton, Ont., was pronounced dead in hospital soon after the shootings.
The second murder victim is a 15-year-old girl, also from Brampton.
Police say the young girl is "a relative" of the surviving victim, a 20-year-old man from Brampton.
They say they are not releasing her name in order to protect the identity of her wounded relative.
"Investigators believe that at least two male suspects are responsible and they remain at large," Sgt. Clint Whitney said Thursday. "This incident is not believed to be a random act."
