CALGARY - More charges have been laid against a man accused of posing as a teen online to lure girls into performing sex acts for money.
In October of last year, the man was charged after a two-month investigation by the Calgary police vice unit was launched when a parent found sexually exploitive conversations on her 13-year-old daughter’s Facebook account.
The conversations included requests that the victim send naked photos of herself and meet to perform various sexual acts in exchange for money.
Police believe the man posed as a teenage girl and used a Facebook account under the profile name Nikki Wright.
A subsequent investigation revealed accused also allegedly used the Nikki Wright Facebook page to befriend a 14-year-old girl.
It’s alleged the man tried to lure the girl online into performing sexual acts in exchange for money.
