EDMONTON - The parents of a 16-year-old Wabasca-Desmarais boy shot dead in a garage during an apparent teen drinking party are suing the grandparents of the alleged shooter.

According to a $925,000 lawsuit filed in Edmonton's Court of Queen's Bench, the parents of Dannon Taylor are alleging the shooter's grandparents were negligent for failing to prevent underage drinking, drug use and the use of firearms on their premises and for failing to supervise minors where alcohol consumption is occurring.
