OTTAWA ó A 17-year-old girl burst into tears as an Ottawa judge found her guilty of human trafficking in the prostitution of young teens.

Judge Diane Lahaie delivered a series of guilty verdicts Wednesday morning in the disturbing case of young teen pimps, forcing other young teens into sexual service.

Lahaie was convicted of human trafficking, sex assault, uttering threats and other charges. More verdicts are still to be dealt with.

The alleged ringleader of the underage sex ring was left alone in the prisonerís box after her two co-accused copped mid-trial guilty pleas.

The girl could face an adult sentence for beating up, threatening and drugging girls as young as 13 into working as prostitutes.

And while some johns noticed the girlsí young ages and agreed to pretend to have had sex with them to protect them from their pimps, others were less kind.

Court heard that one man raped one of the girls after dressing her in a pink bikini.
