Two Canadian Forces members have been arrested after inappropriate comments appeared on a Facebook page.

Military police started an investigation into comments on the page titled Cpl Bloggins in January, public affairs officer Capt. Joanna Labonte said in an email.

The two members, based at CFB Petawawa, were arrested for defamatory libel under the Criminal Code and for use of improper comments under the Military Code of Service Discipline, Labonte said.

The members weren't identified because they haven't been formally charged.

In February, military police launched another investigation into defamatory Facebook comments on another page called Cpl Bloggins, she said, but no other information was provided about that case.
