CALGARY -- Fresh out of the hospital, a driver involved in a two-vehicle crash last October in which three people were killed now faces charges.

Calgary police allege the Oct. 30 accident in the 3800 block of 17 Ave. S.W. involved alcohol.

A Dodge Neon went out of control and crossed the path of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, colliding with it before careening into a concrete wall along an LRT line.

Killed as a result of the crash were father of two, Conrad Wayne Provost, 38, Kim Carla Provost, 32, and Kim's common-law, Jessie Little Moustache, 35.

The driver of the Neon was the only survivor of the vehicle and taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Four people from the Jeep were also taken to hospital.
