TORONTO - Debra Dreise refuses to be one of George Doodnaught’s nameless and faceless victims any longer.

She is the one who finally stopped the serial predator, the brave mother of two who went to Toronto Police in 2010 and triggered the investigation that ultimately led to the anesthesiologist’s 21 convictions for sexual assault and his 10-year sentence.

Monday morning, she had the court lift the publication ban on her name.

“There comes a point I don’t want to be a victim anymore,” she explains. “I don’t want to be ashamed and hidden from life and I feel with this publication ban, that’s what happened.
