TORONTO — Police say they’ve located an eight-year-old Mississauga, Ont., boy who they alleged had been abducted by his mother.
The boy was last seen Sunday morning when his father dropped him off at his mother’s home in Mississauga.
An Amber Alert was issued Monday morning.
Peel Regional Police said the mother doesn’t have custody of the boy and isn’t able to take proper care of him.
A member of the public spotted the mother’s Honda Accord north of Toronto and contacted police. The boy was in good health and has been returned to his father, police said.
Police haven’t said if charges will be laid.
