The green pouch Ransom is holding contained Emma's ashes and was one of the items stolen from her truck in the early hours of Aug. 2, 2013. The crooks dumped her ashes on the ground not far from the truck and due to rain at the time, many were lost. Stuart Dryden/Calgary Sun/QMI Agency

CALGARY - The last of three teenage girls charged with stealing ashes from a pickup which were later scattered in the street, pleaded guilty Monday to theft.

Defence counsel Diana Mah entered the plea on the girl’s behalf before youth court Judge Todd LaRochelle.

Mah set a sentencing date of June 6 and said her client will attempt to take part in community conferencing with the victim of her crime in the meantime.
