KINGSTON, Ont. — Murderer Cale David Presnail, who was serving a life sentence when he escaped from minimum security Frontenac Institution on Monday night, has been recaptured in Kingston, Ont.

Police were tipped off to his whereabouts by a phone call, letting them know Presnail was possibly in a city park.

Police arrested him “without incident,” according to a release.

Presnail was convicted in late 1998 of second-degree murder in the 1997 bludgeoning death of a 67-year-old Wisconsin tour bus driver who was visiting Hamilton.
