In town to sell her homemade jewelry, a B.C. woman was devastated to discover thousands of dollars of supplies were stolen from her car by brazen thieves.

And among the priceless items lifted from her vehicle was one of her memorial beads she creates, containing the ashes of her late husband.

Cherie Rensing, a jewelry designer from Creston, B.C., is now offering a $500 reward for the return of her prized possessions.

Rensing, who was in the city to sell her wares at the Lilac Festival and Kingsland Farmers’ Market, parked her Santa Fe outside her daughter’s Marda Loop condo building on 34 Ave. by 24 St. S.W.
