WINNIPEG -- A 21-year-old shot by police last week was allegedly attempting to rob his brother -- for the second time.

The man who was shot during an alleged robbery at the Domo gas bar appeared in court Thursday charged with several offences linked to three robberies over a three-month period.

The first alleged robbery occurred April 1. Court documents show this robbery, along with a June 19 robbery, both involved the same 18-year-old clerk, who has the same last name as the suspect.

A family member confirmed they are brothers.
