TORONTO - A 51-year-old Toronto man is accused of stunt driving after he was allegedly caught racing through Caledon at more than twice the posted speed limit.

Ontario Provincial Police say an officer “conducting speed enforcement” near Hwy. 10 and Beech Grove Side Rd. spotted the accused leadfoot shortly before 3 p.m. Monday.

“The officer observed the driver of a brown Lexus travelling southbound at a high rate of speed and determined the speed at 145 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone,” the OPP claim in a statement released Tuesday.
