Police in North Vancouver are hoping the public can help them identify a person of interest after 47 vehicles sitting in various car dealerships were scratched earlier this month.
"With the average cost to repair each vehicle estimated to be around $2,000 the total repair cost will be approximately $100,000," the police said in a statement.
They say they have viewed footage from various security cameras "and have identified a person of interest," said Cpl. Richard De Jong, of the North Vancouver RCMP. "We need this person identified and spoken to."
The RCMP says the vandalism took place between Aug. 2 to 4.
Police are looking for a 50-60-year-old white male who is heavy set and balding.
