Emergency crews used thermal imaging equipment to locate and rescue a woman who fell into the Niagara Gorge in the early-morning hours of Friday.
The woman fell about 30 feet and landed in some brush, reports TV station WGRZ. She was taken to hospital to be checked out but doesn't appear to have suffered any serious injuries.
Police told the station the woman may have argued with her boyfriend in the moments before she slipped into the gorge. They do not suspect foul play.
The woman's name and age were not released.
Last month, a police officer was injured after he and the teen suspect he was chasing fell into the gorge. The teen, 18-year-old Ryan Dube, died.
