For a lot of fans, it’s like all is right with the world again.

NHL Hockey is back.

There’s no argument that Monday’s long-awaited home opener is the hottest ticket in town.

Jimmie and Jenny Downie knew no matter what else is going on Monday they would be watching.

It’s not about salary arbitration, bargaining and collective agreements for them. They just love their Leafs.

They never considered boycotting the NHL when it came back as some have suggested they are doing.

Fans may feel like it, but when that puck drops, it’s pretty hard to not watch.

“We never miss a game on TV,” said Jimmie.

Remember, these are the same people who wore their blue and white Leafs sweaters when they were married.

“We live or die by the Leafs,” said Jimmie. “My wife and kids ( McKayla, 12, Sammantha, 9, and Riley (18-months) love them as much as I do.”
