OTTAWA – Ottawa's darling Helene Campbell got the Valentine's Day gift no young man could possibly offer.
She's heading to sunny California for her spot in the limelight next to Ellen Degeneres next Tuesday.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so excited to be on the show," said an animated Campbell, who was waiting at the airport for her flight south.
It will be a welcome reprieve for the 21-year-old, who has earned international clout as an advocate for organ transplants after recovering from a double lung transplant.
