A woman abandoned as a baby in a Burger King washroom found her birth mother 27 years later through Facebook.

Katheryn Hollis Deprill was born Sept. 15, 1986, and left at a BK in Allentown, Penn.

"Today I have launched a campaign to find my biological mother. I would love to be able to meet her, and hug her. I want her to know that I am not mad at her for what she did, however I have so many questions to ask her and also to start a relationship with my biological mother," she posted on March 7.

Less than two weeks later, she got her chance.

Deprill met her birth mother Monday, in a meeting arranged, at the mother's request, by lawyer John Waldron, 69 News reports.

Deprill declined to reveal the woman's identity but told 69 News the meeting went "better than what I thought."

According to her Facebook page, Deprill has a husband and children of her own.
