CALGARY - Imagine the freedom you'd have if you didn't have to worry about paying your bills for an entire year.

Starting this Sunday, The Sun, Enmax Energy and Canada Safeway are teaming up to make that dream a reality for one lucky reader with the Change Your Life contest.

The grand prize winner will have their mortgage or rent up to $1,750 paid for 12 months and $400 a month in Safeway gift certificates, $75 a week for gas, $200 a month for entertainment, $500 for car payments and $300 a month for miscellaneous bills.

On top of that, the grand prize winner will receive a one-time payment of $3,100 for spending money.

One runner-up winner will have their bills paid for a month and the 48 other qualifiers will each get $100.

Sun marketing director Diane Wensel said she's confident someone's life will be changed.

"By not having to pay your bills, you can do something different with all the money you would have had to use," she said.

"Are you going to pay off your student loan or take a cool trip or do some renovations to your house or buy a new car?

"Basically, we're giving someone freedom."
