EDMONTON - DMONTON -- Ever since Jamie Whittaker was eight years old, he's had a love for Slurpees. When he turned 18, he began buying lotto tickets with his Slurpee purchases. Last week his love for the slushy drinks finally paid off. Whittaker stopped at a Sherwood Park 7-Eleven during his lunch break and checked the numbers on his Lotto 6/49 ticket. He's never won more than a $100. This time, he was holding a ticket for $15,689.035.
