LONDON - The three criminal charges facing London Mayor Joe Fontana were adjourned to Feb. 26 Tuesday morning in provincial court.

Fontana, 62, of Arva, faces charges relating to the use of federal government funds for the wedding reception of his son at a London social club in 2005 when he was a Liberal MP and federal minister of labour and housing.

Fontana didn't appear to face the charges and was represented by Perrie Douglas, a legal clerk for his lawyer, Gord Cudmore.
