CALGARY - CALGARY – Former Alberta Premier and Calgary mayor Ralph Klein's health is deteriorating further.
Sources told QMI Agency that Klein, 70, who was admitted to a continuing care facility in October of 2011 due to complications stemming from two chronic and incurable conditions, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) and aphasia (a form of dementia), has taken a turn for the worse.
Official confirmation from Klein's camp hasn't been made.
"He's resting comfortably in the same facility where he's been for the past 18 months," long-time friend Rod Love said on Wednesday, adding a release will be made when there's something to release.
