American astronaut Neil Armstrong is to be buried at sea.
The first man to walk on the moon passed away on August 25 at a hospital in Columbus, Ohio, aged 82, after suffering complications following surgery for blocked coronary arteries.
A public memorial for the former U.S. Navy fighter pilot will be held at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. next week and then he will make the ocean his final resting place, his family tells TMZ.com.
The space icon was already remembered by family and friends during a funeral last month.
