Canadian astronaut invites fans to tweet mushy musingsBy QMI Agency
Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield spent Valentine's Day floating in orbit and invited romantics to send him their most out-of-this-world space valentines. Twitter users tweeted their heartfelt musings using the hashtag #ValentineFromSpace and Hadfield (@Cmdr_Hadfield) retweeted the best ones. "My love for your burns brighter than a solid rocket booster, my Valentine," Marjan_Lion tweeted and Hadfield retweeted Thursday morning. Hadfield as been a fixture on social media -- posting photos of Earth from far above and even dropping the puck at a Toronto Maple Leafs game -- since he blasted into space about two months ago. He also sent a little love note to us, Earthlings. "My heart glows like the Northern Lights when I think of you, my Valentine," he tweeted. He will be become the first Canadian commander of the International Space Station next month.
