TORONTO - We are one step closer to seeing life on Mars.
Mars One — a not-for-profit foundation — plans to establish a colony of humans on the Red Planet.
The foundation recently created a shortlist of applicants — reducing the number of volunteers from 200,000 to just 705.
During the next phase of elimination, candidates will meet face-to-face with members of the Mars One selection committee. The interviews will happen over the summer.
