Eagle-eyed drivers travelling north on Deerfoot Tr. yesterday morning were greeted with a surprise after pranksters apparently commandeered an electronic message board near 17 Ave. S.W.

Instead of the usual message warning motorists of construction and a reduced speed limit of 80 km/hour, the board simply read "I love mom, please slow down."
