Boy calls 911 for sister hogging computer
By QMI Agency

A five-year-old Kelowna, B.C., boy has now learned when it's appropriate to call 911.

The boy dialed the emergency number Monday after he became upset because his six-year-old sister wouldn't let him use the family computer, police said in a release. When he dialed 911, he told the operator he needed police help, then hung up.

Police responded to the home. When officers found there was no emergency, they talked to the boy about when it's appropriate to call 911.

"After recognizing his error, the lad also made it clear that 911 shouldn't be called when your sister won't let you on the computer," police said.
