A New York state driver has been charged after cops said they saw her injecting heroin into her leg while behind the wheel.

The 27-year-old woman was pulled over by state police Tuesday in Grand Island, the Buffalo News reports.

Shannon Alba of Lancaster is charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Two passengers in the car were charged with possession of stolen property and burglary tools.
