Like a scene right out of the Trailer Park Boys, an RCMP chopper and two police dogs helped chase down two young Nova Scotia men who allegedly made off with a tractor-trailer packed with more than $200,000 worth of booze last weekend.

At 4:47 a.m. Saturday, police in Pictou County, N.S., got a call that 53-foot tractor-trailer full of liquor had gone missing from the Mount William area.

Cops found it the next day in Debert, N.S.,

With the help of the chopper and the dogs, cops were able to track down the two alleged culprits a short distance from where the tractor-trailer was discovered.

Two young men - a 23-year-old man from Belmont and a 21-year-old man from Truro - are behind bars, facing charges of theft and possession of stolen property. The pair are due in court at a later date.

Police are still investigating the theft, and say more charges are pending.
