The elderly woman who has become a worldwide celebrity for her botched restoration of a Jesus fresco in a Spanish church is back and has sold another painting on eBay for more than $1,400.

Cecilia Gimenez, 80, sold the oil painting, titled the Bodegas de Borja (Borja's Wine Cellar), with proceeds going to the Catholic charity Caritas, according to the ad.

Gimenez made headlines in August when she took it upon herself to touch up a century-old painting of Christ called the Ecce Homo in Borja.

Initially, church officials and the late artist's family were outraged because the restored fresco appeared to look less like Christ and more like "a crayon sketch of a very hairy monkey in an ill-fitting tunic," a BBC Europe reporter said at the time.

The "restored" Ecce Homo has since become a tourist attraction, and the image has been printed on T-shirts and posters.
