Dad hired video game hitman to discourage son
By QMI Agency

(SHUTTERSTOCK)

Xiao Feng, 23, is pretty good at his favourite online video game, so he was surprised when he suddenly started getting killed again and again like a rookie.

Turns out the high-level characters that kept taking him out were actually hitmen hired by his father.

According to the Chinese website People's Online Daily, Feng's dad — referred to only as Mr. Feng — was sick of his son playing games all day instead of getting a job. He'd quit his last one at a software company after just three months.

When Feng wouldn't listen to reason, Mr. Feng decided he'd make the game so frustrating for his son that he'd quit on his own.

But Feng said it wasn't the game that kept him unemployed.

"I can play or I can not play, it doesn't bother me. I'm not looking for any job — I want to take some time to find one that suits me," he told the news site.
