The graveyard that inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula is dealing with a horror of its own after mudslides uncovered old human bones.

The cliffs below St. Mary's church in Whitby, England, have been crumbling for years, but water from a broken drain pipe last month unearthed remains from the cemetery and swept them down the cliffs, into the town immediately below, reports the Northern Echo.

Whitby is said to have been the home of Bram Stoker between 1890 and 1896, and its 12th-century church's graveyard is said to be the setting of a scene in his novel.

Church officials were moved in Sept. 2011 to ban photography on the site after Goths flocked there and posed on graves, according to the Telegraph.

The cemetery hasn't been used in more than a hundred years, Reverend David Smith told the paper: "So if any graves are exposed it's only bones. If anything is exposed we collect and re-inter them in the same churchyard away from the edge."
