Cops allegedly racing to Tim Hortons won't be disciplined
By Nadia Moharib, QMI agency

YouTube screen grab of Calgary police cars whose drivers are now under investigation after they were filmed allegedly racing to a Tim Hortons.

CALGARY – It certainly warranted a refresher on setting a good example and keeping public confidence, but police officers caught on camera during an alleged cop-on-cop street race will not face any internal discipline.

A video surfaced on YouTube earlier this week showing two marked cruisers and an unmarked vehicle at a red light, one appearing to rev in anticipation of the green light, hit the gas to get to Tim Hortons.

Police launched an investigation, conceding, without a date stamp, it would be difficult to identify officers involved.
