Tim Hortons stolen cash recovered, doughnuts still missing
By QMI Agency

Tim Hortons. (QMI Agency, file)

A man and a teen boy face robbery charges after allegedly making off with cash and doughnuts from a Halifax-area Tim Hortons on Saturday night.

RCMP said two suspects burst into the coffee shop at 11:37 p.m., wearing masks and demanding money.

They fled with cash from the till and a selection of doughnuts, cops said.

Early Sunday morning, police arrested the pair as they were allegedly trying to steal a car in nearby Bedford. Police recovered the cash but offered no update on the whereabouts of the doughnuts.

A 27-year-old Lower Sackville, N.S., man and a 17-year-old boy from Herring Cove, N.S., face several charges.

They were to appear in court Monday.
