Boise bar boasts boob job door prize

Mardi Gras revellers who hit the bars in Boise, Idaho, this year will be eligible for an unusual door prize -- a $3,000 coupon for breast augmentation surgery.

"It's the best Door prize we feel we could give away on this Holiday," reads the Facebook page for the Mardi Gras celebrations at China Blue, Dirty Little Roddy's and The Main street Bistro.

All three establishments are owned by Ted Challenger.

"We're just trying to put some fun back into Mardi Gras," he told the Idaho Statesmen. "It's basically a gift certificate to any surgeon of your choice for $3,000 for a breast augmentation."

"Women really are just a sum of their body parts, and when they get them surgically upgraded, they're better! God forbid a woman keep her lowly, God-given 'not-so-goods,'" one disgruntled reader wrote on the Statesman website.

The prize is a play on the Mardi Gras tradition of exchanging coloured beads for flashes of boobs.
