Sister marries twin's convicted killer

An Argentinian woman married her sister's convicted killer on Valentine's Day to the outrage of her family and the community, reports say.

Onlookers threw stones and eggs at the registry office where the couple tied the knot Thursday in the southern Argentine town of Pico Truncado, the Independent reported.

But Edith Casas, 22, insists Victor Cingolani, 28, didn't kill her sister, Johana.

Cingolani was released for the ceremony and returned to his cell to serve the remainder of his 13-year murder sentence.

Johana's body was found with two gunshots to the head in a field near Pico Truncado in 2010. She was 19.

Casas' parents tried to stop the nuptials in court to no success and her family has since disowned her, local reports said.

"For me, both of them are dead," her father Valentín Casas told the Clarín newspaper in December.

"Johana is with God and Edith is with the Devil."
