Boy, 5, racks up $2,500 bill on family iPad
By QMI Agency

Apple iPad (Files)

A five-year-old British boy ran up a $2,500 bill in iPad apps in about 15 minutes -- all because he wanted to play a zombie game.

Danny Kitchen asked his parents for the password for the family iPad so he could download the free game Zombies vs. Ninjas, Mashable reported Monday.

But once he began playing the game, he ordered a series of weapons add-ons that cost up to $99.99 each.

His parents, who were entertaining guests at the time, were unaware of the sky-high app bill until the next day.

Sharon Kitchen received a phone call from her credit card company about the suspicious activity, Mashable reported.

"I still find it incredible that he managed to do it," Sharon told Mashable. "He only had the iPad for 10 to 15 minutes, so he could've only done the deed within this amount of time."

Danny was reprimanded and Apple reversed the charges, Mashable reported.
