One of two B.C. men who went looking for mushrooms more than two weeks back was found alive Monday.
Ike Murray, 26, was found by CN Rail workers at around 4 p.m. Monday about 70 kim north of Terrace. He was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.
But search and rescue officials believe Murray's friend, Michael Devlin Sabo, 32, is dead.
On Monday, Michael's mother, Carol Sabo, was quoted in the Terrace Standard as saying that "Devlin died in Ike's arms.
"Please don't send flowers, please don't call. Thank you to all for everything."
Murray and Sabo set off together to pick mushrooms in the area of Lorne Creek along the Skeena River on Sept. 22.
