Search crews found the body of a man who went missing while picking mushrooms near Terrace, B.C., RCMP said.
Devlin Sabo, 32, was found early Wednesday along Fiddler Creek near the Skeena River.
Sabo and Ike Murray, 26, had been missing since Sept. 22 when they failed to return to their boat at a set time. Murray was found by CN Rail workers Monday afternoon about 70 km north of Terrace and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The pair had become lost and hunkered down for a week before deciding to hike out.
"Devlin soon lost strength to continue. Ike stayed with Devlin till his death then managed to hike for two more days and finally hit the railroad tracks where he was shortly discovered by CN maintenance workers," RCMP said in a statement.
