A British charity says a teen who arrived on its doorstep doesn't know his own name, real age or what country he's from.

"He could have fallen out of the sky," Paul Wheeler of the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre told the Coventry Telegraph.

The newspaper reported Tuesday the boy, thought to be in his late teens, took a bus from London to Coventry on Nov. 11 carrying only a letter from a solicitor saying he's stateless. Being stateless means the boy cannot get help from some services, including health care.

He speaks Urdu, Hindi and basic English. Staff at the centre believe he could be a victim of trafficking.

"He thinks he came to the U.K. when he was six because 'the lady in the house' told him that," Wheeler said, adding when staff ask him about the house, he becomes nervous and stops talking.
