TORONTO -- Controversy and Rob Ford are no passing strangers: They’ve been on first name terms for years.
Ever since the mayor’s epic run for City Hall in 2010, the man from Etobicoke has had more than his fair share of bust-ups and showdowns with political protagonists, accusers, foes, the media and, yes, some supporters.
Toronto video producer Adam Shaheen has seen it all. The president and executive producer of Cuppa Coffee Studios said he has captured Rob Ford’s very public life and times on a piece of digital mischief that will debut on Global TV’s Morning Show at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
Simply entitled, “Fordtacular Spectacular!,” the three-minute cartoon work is one man’s take on the seemingly unbelievable follies that define City Hall in 2013.
