Well, hello to you Mr. Duffy.

A new website developed by Green party deputy leader and Ottawa Centre candidate Kevin O'Donnell allows you to select your name so disgraced senator Mike Duffy will say hello to you.

O'Donnell said a reporter mentioned how an old fundraising video in which Duffy sent personalized greetings to hundreds of names was still on the Conservative party's website and, being a programmer, he wanted to see how they made the video.

He noticed the greeting part was separate from the rest of the fundraising video and was able to use the former to create his own Duffy greeting app. He put it up on his website.

O'Donnell started with 750 names, and added 114 more Thursday morning. People can click on their name from a list, or can suggest a name if it's missing.

The funniest so far has been Klaus, he said.

O'Donnell said it's also amusing to think that Duffy had to sit in a studio for hours recording greetings to potential donors.

He said it seems the link to the short Duffy clip has reached Canadians who aren't part of the political sphere, and they're enjoying it, too.

"That I find kind of satisfying," he said.
