Donna Docherty knows the only thing worse than waking up with a hangover is having nothing in your home to help you cope with it.

That's why the British woman started a delivery service that, for about $9, will bring people in England's Kent county anything their hungover hearts desire — from greasy fast food to some ibuprofen for that pounding headache.

On her website, Docherty says she was "made redundant" from a job where she helped the unemployed find work, so she decided to start her own business.

"I'm like their fairy godmother, turning up at their door with their much needed hangover cures," the 40-year-old told the U.K. Daily Mail newspaper ahead of what could be her busiest day of the year, New Year's Day.

"I've been preparing for New Years' Day for weeks now — stockpiling the medication and bottles of fizzy drinks, and mapping which takeaways are open for me to collect food from," she said.
